LMU Amgen Scholars visit the IZB
As part of a new cooperation with the Innovation and Start-Up Center for Biotechnology (IZB), our 20 scholars visited the IZB facilities and Exosome Diagnostics
06.07.2018
After the recent acceptance from IZB CEO, Dr. Peter Hanns Zobel, to join the Advisory Board of the Amgen Scholars Programme at LMU, the 2018 cohort was invited to visit the IZB in Planegg (Munich). During the visit, the 20 intenational bachelor students learned about the structure of the Innovation and Start-Up Center for Biotechnology, the companies it houses, and the services a start-up can benefit from. To round up this first glimpse into the biotech industry, the LMU scholars were taken on a tour of one of the biggest tenants in house - Exosome Diagnostics.
