"The LMU Amgen Scholars programme was an opportunity to first-hand experience doing cutting edge research in a very stimulating environment and get a taste of what means to have a career in research. The programme stroke a balance between lab work, social activities, workshops and other formative activities. But what really complemented our scientific activities was the fact that during our stay in München, we formed a community. We discussed our scientific dilemmas but also ethical ones and really worked as a team to solve them. I will really miss our brainstorms sessions and our movie nights. The friendships that we made in München are still some of the most enriching experiences that I ever had."
