The Wiegrebe lab offers the following research opportunities to Amgen Scholars: Firstly, students will be introduced into the methods and techniques in behavioral neuroscience and psychophysics. Secondly, students will be able to train animals for perceptual tasks and thirdly, participate in human psychophysical experiments (both as a researcher and as a subject).

Primary Technique(s): echo-imaging, echo-acoustic phantom target technique, spatial auditory object localization

Model Organism(s): mammalian auditory system (bats, gerbils, humans)
